Book Rental Scheme

Coláiste Dún an Rí provides a book rental scheme for Fifth and Sixth Year Students. Students can rent rather than purchase the full suite of texts necessary for the curriculum. The Book Rental Scheme only covers essential texts and does not include additional texts or equipment that may be needed for each subject.

The book rental scheme is optional and payment is made before the commencement of Fifth Year. Should parents/students wish to purchase their own books that is permissible. The book lists have been included below.

Books/Texts for LCA are included in the LCA equipment fee.

Transition Year students do not require a book list but there is a equipment list and parents/students need to provide this equipment where necessary.

 

A Book Rental Scheme no longer applies for Junior Cycle. Books and equipment are now provided under the national book scheme to student as a loan for the duration of Junior Cycle. Information on this has been provided via the school app. 

​

Parents do not need to purchase books or equipment  for Junior Cycle (1st, 2nd and 3rd Year), unless books need to be replaced or the equipment falls outside the national scheme.
